Halloween Fun

The treats were all so creepily creative and delish!

What a great night it was!  Here I am with Fletch.  He's ready to trick or treat.  He's dressed as a whoopie cushion.

The two Marylin Monroes! My daughter Sammie and her BF Brianna.

Happy Halloween!

Here she is, just in time for Halloween!  Eat your heart out zombie girl!  Boo!

Love is spoken here.  Sometimes I feel like life is constantly testing us to see if we will be quick to anger when mistreated by someone.  I was tested today and am happy to report that I resisted.  Life is too short to spend in any kind of turmoil.  Instead I will pray for that person; I'm sure there is something that they are going through that caused their awful behavior.  Love conquers all!

I love pillows!

Dining Table

I love decorating.  This is our dining room.

This painting I did scared my family.  The kids asked me to throw it away because it looks scary.  It symbolizes a lot of things for me and was a great way to release those feelings.  My Dad who I absolutely adore, passed away about four years ago and I'm not close with my Mother.  His passing has changed me forever.  After he passed I felt so lost and vulnerable to the world.  I've always been super independent and capable and even though I'm a happily married grown 40 year old woman, I still feel like a solid piece of my heart is missing.  I guess any girl who is close to her Dad probably feels the same way.  Dad's are so important to their daughters!  ...miss you Daddeeoo :)

Here's me and my wonderful husband.  Our anniversary is coming up December 20th.  I think that makes 18 years of marriage.  Can't believe how fast the years have gone by.  Love him to pieces and think the world of him.  I'm super proud of us for sticking together through this tough financial time.  Our love has endured so many things.  We've always pulled through.  We have become closer to God.  I feel super blessed :)

Here I am at the computer today.  Okay so I should be doing housework today, but here I am working on my blog.  Just got done painting my latest...flying pig!  Too bad I can't hire a house cleaner...if I could I would paint, sew and read all day!  I was in commercial real estate before the big market collapse.  We've lost our business.  There are blessings during these tough times and one is that I now have time to do what I enjoy doing...which is anything and everything creative!  Before, when working full-time I never had time to do artwork of any kind.  It won't be long before I will be working again, so I am relishing every single minute of it!  God Bless!

When pigs fly! Just painted her today...she's a beauty :)

This painting to me is what it must feel like for an addict...a constant pulling.
I painted this yesterday.

I took this photo from my upstairs deck. Arizona sunsets are gorgeous!
